This is a Schurich vase from the 1950s.
The pale pink gives it a soft impression. The "Scheurich" sticker is still in place.
It's hard to see in the picture, but there is a "FOREIGN" stamp there. This is a mark for works made in Germany for export overseas.

This type of pottery was produced in large quantities throughout Germany in the 1950s-1970s. Known as "FAT LAVA," it features a texture resembling molten, solidified lava. At the time, there were numerous pottery manufacturers, each selling a variety of designs. The attractive use of glazes and timeless designs are popular worldwide.

Scheurich is one of Germany's leading ceramic manufacturers of the Golden Age (1950s-1980s). Founded in 1954 in Kleinheubach by Alois Scheurich, the company quickly grew to become Germany's largest ceramic manufacturer. The company continues to operate today, but now focuses on gardening tools.
