FAT LAVA Vase “Scheurich 420-32”

The beautiful fiery red glaze that is characteristic of FAT LAVA German flower vase.
This vase was made in the 1960s by the West German pottery manufacturer Sheurich.
It's quite a large piece and stands 32cm tall, so it makes quite an impact.
I think it's better to decorate the vase itself rather than arranging flowers in it.
There is what appears to be a chip on the handle, but it looks like the glaze has peeled off during manufacturing, and is likely from when it was first sold.
Brand
[FAT LAVA]
Ceramic products that were actively produced in various parts of Germany in the 1950s-1970s.
As it is called FAT LAVA, it has a texture that resembles molten and solidified lava.
At that time, there were many pottery manufacturers, each selling pottery products with a variety of designs.
The attractive use of glaze and timeless design are popular all over the world.
[Scheurich]
One of the leading manufacturers of ceramic products in Germany during the golden age (1950s-1980s).
The company was founded in 1954 in Kleinheubach by Alois Scheurich.
The young company grew rapidly and became Germany's largest ceramic manufacturer.
The company is still in business today, but now primarily produces gardening supplies.
