Brand
[FAT LAVA]
Ceramic products that were actively produced in various parts of Germany in the 1950s-1970s.
As it is called FAT LAVA, it has a texture that resembles molten and solidified lava.
At that time, there were many pottery manufacturers, each selling pottery products with a variety of designs.
The attractive use of glaze and timeless design are popular all over the world.
[Ceramano]
Ceramano was founded in 1959 in Ransbach-Baumbach by Jakob Schwaderlapp, who had also founded Jasba in 1926.
They have produced a large number of realistic forms and glazes, and are still popular among collectors today.
Key designers included Hanns Welling, who helped found Ceramano and worked there until 1961, and Gerda Heuckeroth.
Hanns Welling was already a popular designer at Ruscha, where he worked in the 1950s, and at Ceramano he continues to create stunning pieces with his outstanding glaze designs.
