The company name MAjolikafabrik RhEInbach Jean Fuss & Sohn has been shortened to MAREI.
Although MAREI was a fairly small company, it produced a large number of pieces in the 1950s and 1960s, among which its most popular pieces were the rounded penguin-shaped vases and the square-shaped Chimney series of vases.
