[FAT LAVA]
Ceramic products that were actively produced in various parts of Germany in the 1950s-1970s.
As it is called FAT LAVA, it has a texture that resembles molten and solidified lava.
At that time, there were many pottery manufacturers, each selling pottery products with a variety of designs.
The attractive use of glaze and timeless design are popular all over the world.
[Marei Keramik]
Founded in 1948 in Rheinbach by Jean Fuss and his son Jean Sohn.
The company name MAjolikafabrik RhEInbach Jean Fuss & Sohn has been shortened to MAREI.
Although MAREI was a fairly small company, it produced a large number of pieces in the 1950s and 1960s, among which the most popular pieces were the rounded penguin-shaped vases and the square-shaped Chimney series of vases.
